Royal Sun Palm Springs

Stay here for the Quintessential Palm Springs experience. Absolutely loved the look and ambience of this hotel. It’s giving Wes Anderson vibes with your classic Palm Springs feel. They also gave our free bike rentals for guests during the day. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

We just spent the weekend at the Royal Sun Motel in Palm Springs and had an incredible stay! The whole place nails that mid-century modern style—super retro, yet beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were stylish, clean, and full of character, with fun pops of color and vintage touches that made the stay feel special. We also loved the decor in the restaurant—cool, classic, and totally Palm Springs. The pool area was perfect for relaxing, and the entire vibe was welcoming and chill. The staff were friendly and attentive, and a big thank you to William, the manager, for being so kind and helpful. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Enjoyed our stay at this boutique. They make every little detail matter and it shows! There’s lots of different mid century hotels, but this one captured our attention and now we will be trying to come Back soon!

Once again, I was not disappointed with stay! Beds are comfy, showers are fabulous, rooms are clean and grounds are immaculately kept. The customer service is outstanding. Pool staff are very attentive. Nod to Will for running a tight ship! cool vibes always!

I had such a wonderful stay here! It was a super quick one-night trip just to sit by the pool and relax. The rooms were gorgeous, the pool area was really beautiful and the vibes were great! Music, drinks, food all awesome. Service from everyone was so friendly. I thought the value for the price was really excellent. Only thing to note is they did charge me $75 extra to check in at 11am - not unreasonable but I was a bit surprised since this is first time I had seen that. Will absolutely come back!

All in all we enjoyed our stay at Royal Sun Palm Springs. The location made it easy to get around the Palm Springs area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The entire property is well maintained and CLEAN. Based on their website, we were expecting more upscale amenities, but our room had what we needed and was quiet. Even though we faced the pool area, the noise was muted. They have good pool-side food. You have to ask someone about the restaurant though, such as where it is (hidden), when it opens, and menu. Given it seems to be at the top of their amenities list you'd think they would call attention to it and post the menu.

Everything about my stay was phenomenal, the service - the whole staff was so sweet and welcoming. Kristy was incredible! The food and drinks were so good by the pool, the room and beds were super comfortable and clean. The free yoga and sound bath sessions they had were very enjoyable. I was able to ride the bike they had there for free too which was super fun to me. The complimentary coffee bar in the morning was a major plus with almond milk and oat milk! William - the manager - is the sweetest too! They definitely make you feel right at home and taken care of. I’ll definitely come back to stay here and recommend it to anyone.
